Good. You are of course supposed to stay and listen to your teacher and show proper respect, but there are many kinds of lessons to be learnt. Sometimes the lesson is to make the smart choice, not the respectful one. Learn from Jin Ling. He treats me with respect but he isn't blindly obedient. I wish he were a little bit MORE obedient instead of running into danger all the time and forcing me to chase after

The word you are looking for isn't "astounding" it is "horrifying" or maybe "headache-inducing."
