Sizhui tries to at least maintain eye-contact despite the uncomfortable sensation, blood pounding in his ears making it all the more difficult, but he tries to tamp down the terror, to resist turning on his heel and booking it in the other direction. Fortunately, it seems as if the net will hold, no matter how large this creature is, and that's a bit of a relief while he tries to decide how to handle these circumstances.
