[to be fair in jason's case, that could very well have been possible... but it's unfortunate, he's actually dropped right into a whole different timeline. how? who the hell honestly knows at this point? sizhui wouldn't be able to explain it either, so they're both at a loss there. at least once they realize, it won't be difficult to figure out jason has been time displaced.
and it definitely wasn't in san francisco, much to jason's dismay.
